Over the weekend President Obama attempted 22 basketball shots making only two. He tossed up more bricks than a mason. However, his dogged determination was remarkable because he never gave up. He didn't make an outside shot until his 22nd shot. Describe a time when you or someone else didn't accept failure. Provide as much detail about the situation as possible.
One day when i had practice for softball we where practicing hitting the ball. When it got to me I was so confident that I was going to hit it like it was nothing. Once I got up to bat it was hard for me to hit it and I started to get mad bout me not hitting it. Then it was my last time to try an i took a deep breath and kept my eye on the ball and finally hit the ball. I was so happy that i finally hit it.

ReplyDeleteWe were climbing a chimney type thing on a roof to get ontop of the roof over it and it was really tall and to climb up the chimney pipe to had to use teamwork atleast with two people. So I got a lift from a friend then I was up half wayy and couldn't reach my friend beneath me and couldn't reach the roof ontop to grab onto so I didnt know what to do.. no way out only to risk it . So i lifted myself up barely after a couple minutes of being horrified of the height and pulled myself up onto the roof proudly..but then the way coming back down was even much worser..
