Pride in school work

During our time on this blog, I have noticed that several students are willing to post their thoughts without proofreading. I wonder if it is because they don't care or unaware. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions or advice for your fellow students that could motivate them to take pride in what they post on this blog or any work they submit?

  1. I think its because they are unaware on what they put. I post things an its not correct because I get use to spelling or writing a certain way. i type to my friends shorter words at time because i think it is faster way for me to type.

  3. They need more practice maybe with vocabulary? or learn how to type better? && maybe you could ask them in class if they can proofread their response first then send it in.

  5. In my opinion, there is a defference between texting, being on facebook, and replying to your teachers blog for your own grade. So if you want a good grade, you should spell things in concideration. You don't talk to your teacher like he is your friend, so why are you going to reply to his blog like he is your friend. I am not saying that you cannot be friends with your teacher, but there should be a level of professionalism. Another reason for highschool is so you have practice in the real world.
Not only did the teacher ask for a well organized and correctly spelled responce, you did not give it to him. So not only are you not sounding professional, you are not doing what is asked by your higher power. (yes your teacher has some control of your life since he has control of your grades)
