Community Collaborative Charter School what brings you here?

Today's students have several choices when it comes to their education. Most choose the school closest to their home. However, some seek Charter schools that fill a specific niche such as the Performing and Fine Arts Academy in Natomas.  Then you have Independent Study schools like CCCS. Take a little time to explain why you chose to attend CCCS. Then discuss what you like about our school and share some ways we can make it a better school.

    1. What is great about the school? What did your grandma's friends hear about the school? What do you like about CCCS? What would you suggest to make it a better school?

  2. The reason I chose to go to CCCS is because I needed to get my credit up I heard it was a good school and I heard the teachers were nice . And it is a good school the teachers are nice . It is just 1 on 1 time with you and the teacher so it makes you feel more like they care .

  3. honestly i came because its really close and i hate highlands ... i like that my teach is availabe whenever i need him for the most part . also , i like that when im having trouble with something at home i can just text my bucket head teacher about it and hopefully he wont give me a hard time :) i feel that the school could have more space and in the lab , i feel that sometimes we should be able to have discussions about things with our peers . as soon as we make one noise , we're told to hush . what if we're talking about our work ?

    1. Well, if teachers didn't have heads shaped like buckets, then perhaps we would be more open to allow students to discuss work in lab. I agree that our students should have a forum to share ideas with their peers. We do offer opportunities for students to work together such as leadership class. However, I agree that peer conversations are not exactly a norm on CCCS's campus.

  4. The reason why i started to go to CCCS is because my G-ma really wanted me to stay on track and not get off track by other classmate's. At first I really didn't like the idea of homeschooling I would always say nobody want's to be at home all the time, then I started to like it because I knew that I can do better then what I would do in normal high school and I will not get so off track. I really don't think that the school it self need's any changes, maybe just the way people act up there, but you can't tell someone how to change. I like the way teachers work with their students and helps the other students up there as well.
